Better late than never, I finally cut this file so it would upload. Recognizing the dove should be easy, but note the sheep to the right in the first clip. She ends up in the middle on the second clip.

Miracle of Miracles!

Last August we couldn't find Mao Mao. We were sure she'd show up, since she's disappeared temporarily before. But as time passed, I figured we must have left her somewhere or she fell out of the car on one of our trips during the summer. We even got a new cat, though every time Klara saw a picture of Mao Mao, she'd almost cry. I tried to find the same kitty on the internet so we could replace her, but she isn't available anywhere. I had given up hope.

Then yesterday, as I was cleaning up the playroom to make way for new things, what should I find, but under a pile of papers - there she was, our beloved Mao Mao.

It was a very emotional reunion!

Girls on the Run

On December 18th Nora's Girls on the Run program had their season end 5k at the field house on campus. Each girl could have 1 running buddy. Nora didn't want either of us to run with her (we'd make her run the whole way)! So she called down to the Millers and talked to Sandy, who is a big runner. Sandy was thinking that Nora was going to invite her to run, but instead she asked if Jake could do it. He said yes, so here they are, just before the race, with one of Nora's teammates, Hope, in the background. Jake was a very good sport and stayed with Nora the whole way.

It's a wonderful white world of winter...

The above pictures were taken Christmas morning. We got over 14 inches of snow during this last storm system. I think we must have at least two feet. I tried to go skiing yesterday, but due to warm temps in the middle of the three days, it was icy, but not hard enough to hold one's weight. So slippery combined with falling up to your knees in snow made for difficult terrain.

This picture was this morning. Of course it's overcast and light snow again now.

Suite Winter "starring" Klara Lybeck

Klara and four classmates were recruited to participate in a University dance recital with college dance majors. The girls were snowflakes and participated in the third and fourth of four movements. Klara will be the first little dancer you'll see in both movements.

A Christmas Carol

Nora had a week-long theater experience with performances on Friday and Saturday. We had seen another production of A Christmas Carol at the University a couple of weeks earlier, and so she was determined to sing with a British accent!
