Skiing!

Here are some photos of Klara and I out skiing. Klara really likes it and she wants to do anything Mama does, so its easy to take her. She has stamina, balance and patience, so there isn't any whining with her. Unfortunately Nora grew out of her equipment, so I haven't gotten her out yet this winter.

Actually, both girls grew out of their equipment, so Klara is into Nora's set. If anyone has any old gear hanging around for a 10 year old, let me know, otherwise we'll have to hit the end-of-year sales or pay better attention to the ski swap dates at Hoigaards next fall. Nora would prefer downhill any day, but until she can go on her own, the cost is a bit too much for more than once a season.

Also notice my two new favorite articles of clothing. Rick calls me an Oopa-loompa in these navy surplus pants that I found in my parents cedar closet, but they are the best pants ever for any outdoor activity. The other is a new thick fleece that Marti got me for Christmas from REI. I don't think I've had it off since.
