The Stick-it-to-Cancer Tourney was held at the Super Rink in Blaine over the weekend. There are 8 rinks and a game is schedule every 70 minutes Friday afternoon/evening, and from 7:20 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Each team plays three games, but that is a lot of teams. They have U10 all the way up to adult A level (we're CIII). Even so, some of those teams are pretty fierce. I have a nice bruise on my right bicept to prove it. I didn't see any women with missing teeth, but I think Ogie was reffing one of our games!
We're improving; we actually won a game this year! I am now playing defense so you can see me with our goalie and all of the defense.
