Winter Wonderland!

Here is a view from my friend Dawn's cabin loft up in Nashwauk. We went up there this weekend to escape the snow drought we are having and do some skiing.

We had two really beautiful days! Saturday we woke up to -27 but it soon rose to just a few degrees below 0 and with no wind it was gorgeous!

(I'll add the picture of the mother duck and her ducklings skiing across the lake when I get that picture from Dawn, so check back soon.)

Sunday was warmer at +4, but with the wind we had to take more care! Recognize anyone?
