Growing Up

This is probably the last time we'll see Klara in the backpack. It recommends only using it for children up to 50 pounds. Klara now weighs 51, and has thus graduated from the backpack stage of development.

Like last year, the American Educational Research Association conference took me (Rick) to a city with a bustling China Town, this time in San Francisco. I had to duplicate the Vancouver trip by coming back with a new China dress, this time in blue. Klara was eager to be seen in it at church last Sunday!
